The Corps Memorial Weekend is an opportunity for those serving and retired to gather at Chatham and celebrate the heritage of the Corps. 04 Nov 2011 Significant reduction in number of soldiers not under training The Royal Engineers’ training pipeline is complex and is affected by a number of different levers. In order to ensure that trainees reach the Field Army as early as possible it is important that the number of Soldiers Not Under Training (SNUT) held within the RE pipeline is reduced to a minimum. Through a number of measures, Holdfast has recently reduced the number of SNUT in the RSME training pipeline to its lowest ever, with even further reductions possible in the future.
