The RSME at Minley provides permanent accommodation for the Combat Engineer School of RSME and the headquarters of the Engineer in Chief of the British Army. The main function of the Combat Engineer School is to train personnel in combat engineering skills.
Improvements to accommodation at Minley will include:
- Modern en-suite accommodation in 2 new buildings for Junior Rank trainees
- New fitness centre
- New central library and conference extension to the Cloutman block
- New reception and guardhouse facilities
- New boat maintenance and store building at Hawley Hard
- New classrooms
- New dive store at Hawley Hard
- Refurbishment of existing Junior Ranks accommodation
- New Officers' and Sergeants' Mess'
